Cubs Cardinals Rivalry In Full Swing
After blowing a lead in the ninth innings against the Cardinals yesterday, the Chicago Cubs came back today following their heartbreaking defeat. The greatest rivalry in baseball should only get more intense as the season surpasses the halfway point.
Sean Marshall gave the Cubs a much needed victory by pitching 6 strong innings as the Cubs went on to win 6-1.
Aramis Ramirez appears to be coming out of his hitting slump by hitting a homerun yesterday, and adding two hits and 3 rbi's in todays game. Ramirez is a key component in the middle of the order and for the Cubs to continue to have success offensively, the Cubs need Ramirez to perform the way he is fully capable.
